Slow day at work: I went in search of a cartoon from my childhood. It appeared through the old show “Curiosity Shop” which I had forgotten the name of.

I just learned the cartoon is originally Yugoslavian (Croatian) called “Professor Balthazar”. I remember it was featured on the show introduced by a puppet who was called “Baron Balthazar”, from “beautiful downtown* Bosnia”. When I heard about the Balkan war in the 90’s I thought of this show as I recognized the name “Bosnia”.

*Now I know what you’re thinking, Bosnia 🇧🇦 is not a city in Croatia 🇭🇷 and never was, but ‘muricans, hey!
